Three are hollow cut, American, one of a gentleman, very finely cut, with slight graphite embellishment to hair, inscribed on panel backing "Died April 25th AD 1839," housed in oval painted frame (SS 4 x 3 in.; DOA 5.5 x 4.5 in.); the second of a woman with graphite embellished hair and ruffled collar, housed under eglomise mat in painted frame (SS 4.25 x 3.25 in.; DOA 5.5 x 4.5 in.); the third of a woman, housed under eglomise mat in painted frame (SS 4.25 x 3.25 in.; DOA 5.5 x 4.5 in.); the fourth probably English cut and paste with watercolor and ink of a gentleman, housed in a papier mache frame (SS 2.75 x 2.25 in., DOA 4.75 x 4 in.); the fifth English, cut and paste of a lady and gentleman with bronze embellishment, the lady identified as Priscilla Darnell of Hail Weston and the gentleman as John B. Childes Claphorns of Surry, housed in reeded wood frame (SS 5.75 x 3.75 in.; DOA 6.75 x 4.75 in.).
