The first of carved bone with scrimshaw decoration and inscribed "L. Pardoe" (2.75 x 1.5 in.); the second of horn with applied brass plaque (3 x 1.75 in.); the third believed to be baleen with inlaid silver strapwork decoration to hinged cover inscribed "Palmijra" (3 x 1.25 in.), ("as is" condition); the fourth of papier mache with mother-of-pearl and silver inlaid decoration (3 x 1.75 in.).
