The first, of ivory, is decorated allover with an exceptionally detailed portrayal of maidens frolicking in the grass, a castle tower in the background, applied ribbon border (minor paint scrapes and chips); the second fan, also of ivory, with some polychrome enamel and mother-of-pearl enhancement to the spine, painted in 18th century style with landscape and figural scenes to the paper blades (some minor tears and rubbing at upper edge, frame fair with loss of glass).
