Late 19th century, maker's cartouche reads "Joslin's / Terrestrial Globe / containing all / The Late Discoveries / and / Geographical Improvements...manufactured by Gilman Joslin, Boston," steel meridian, turned mahogany legs, horizon ring papered with the zodiac.

12 in. globe; 38 in. high with stand

Splits and small areas of paper loss throughout, these being crudely repaired with glue; additional scuffs and areas of loss to the horizon ring, these not being glued; overall aging to a deep yellow-brown. Fair condition only.
