Each dish and cover with the sponsor's mark for Paul Storr, London, 1799; both of rectangular form with incurved corners and gadrooned border, the domed covers with cast "twig" form ring handles, lobed top and gadrooned shoulder; one dish and cover both with scratched "4" and a scratch weight of "75.7" (72.65 troy oz.); the second dish marked "1" and the cover marked "2" (71.8 troy oz.); both dishes engraved with Vincent family motto "VINCENTI DABITUR" beneath a griffin rising from a coronet, the opposite side engraved with a lion passant with shield beneath a crown; the covers engraved on one side with the same Vincent family motto and crest, the opposite side engraved with a coat of arms including two lions flanking a central shield with lion surmounted by lion and crested by a crown all above the motto "PRODESSE QUAM CONSPICI."
