An assembled five piece service including: kettle (London, partially rubbed hallmarks) on stand (partially rubbed hallmarks) with warmer (London, 1827, "WE" sponsor's mark) (HOA 13.25 in.); coffee pot (London, 1824, "WE" sponsor's mark) (8.25 in.); teapot (London, 1826, "WR" sponsor's mark) (5 7/8 in.); milk jug (London, 1826, "BS" sponsor's mark) (4.25 in.); and open sugar bowl (unmarked, but with silversmith's hammer marks and "centering" dot).

Accompanied by the original sale tag from Vardi silver gallery in New York indicating that this service is from the collection of the Duke of Buckingham of Stowe House. The Estate Collection of the late Iris Holt McEwen McCrary, Burlington, North Carolina.

The kettle on stand with ivory handle, ivory used for all finials, fittings, and insulators (excepting coffee pot which has wood spacers). Each piece of classic Regency form with lobed bodies and shell and gadrooned ornamentation, the spouts with bell flower and acanthus chased motifs. Each with ornately engraved heraldic crest.
