A carved ivory circular box, probably 19th century, the fitted lid decorated with Kintaro killing a giant carp (1.5 x 2.5 in.), (2) carved ivory open vessels, a flower (2.5 in.) and a melon (2 in.), and the fourth, a horn and bone box, the inset lid secured by a carved horn arm which swivels to release the catch (2.25 in.).
