19th century, oil on board, signed lower left with "WB" monogram and illegible place, date, central to the scene is a two-story manor house in front of which stands a lady, the yard in the foreground has a large brick stable to one side and a complex of buildings on the other side, three pedestrians, a horseman, five chickens and a dog populate this space. Rendered in a pleasing, somewhat naive mid-century style, with gilt wood and gesso frame.
