As follows: 1) 11-star First National flag, pair of five-cent CSA #6s tied by a Winchester, VA cds, September 23, to Cabarrus County, NC, some loss to stamps. 2) 12-star First National flag and cannon, pair of five-cent CSA #7s tied by illegible cds, to Chatham P.O., NC, cover front only, stains. 3) Unused cover with a charging dragoon, illegible penciled poem (?), missing flap. 4) Clipped two-color medallion from an early Jefferson Davis cover, some foxing and stains. 5) Clipped Confederate States of America letterhead with 12-star First National flag and cannon, dated January 18, 1862, some stains. 6) Letterhead with cannon and 12-star First National flag, illegible text, possibly November 8, 1861, stains with splits along horizontal folds. 7) Colorful 7-star First National flag letterhead with manuscript datelined "Apple Grove, Sept 5th. 1861". The correspondent, a lady, writes of relief societies being formed for "those who have gone to fight our battles," small area of loss to upper margin.
