Continental, 19th century, both after Jacques-Louis David's (Fr. 1749-1825) "Napoleon in his Study," where the Emperor is depicted in full military dress, the first hand painted on porcelain plaque, signed "Wagner" and identified en verso as "Napoleon," housed in a gilt brass table frame surmounted by a bow knot, SS 3.25 x 2.5 in.; DOA 4.25 x 3 in.; the second watercolor on ivory, signed what appears to be "Gajos," with inscription en verso, housed in ebonized frame with gilt liner.
