Signed "John Picken / Baillieston," walnut and walnut veneers with lightwood string inlay, circular inlay on broken arch pediment with fluted columns and dentil molded frieze, white pine back, metal face painted with The Four Seasons around the dial and a Scottish loch scene above; brass time and strike movement, subsidiary date and seconds dials, pendulum painted with intricate floral motif.
