With Edwards & Sons' sponsor's mark, Glasgow (1924), the three piece set including a double handled center tray (3 3/8 x 16 x 12 1/8 in.) and a pair of matching tazzas (2 x 8.5 in.), each raised on a circular foot, each with elaborate pierced rim in a grapevine pattern, the rims with applied grapevine decoration as well. the center of each piece bears an "M" monogram. The underside of the foot tray is engraved "Presented to / Miss C. M. Lennox / By her Father's Colleagues / on the / Board of Directors / of David Colville & Sons Ltd. / on the Occasion of her Marriage / June, 1925."
