Circa 1800, mahogany, mahogany, veneer, white pine and mahogany secondary, two part form, upper case with cove molded cornice and dentil molding, two raised panel hinged doors with lozenge shaped banded and line inlay opening to reveal a louvered double shelved interior, lower case with butler's desk featuring a later leather writing surface and divided interior, central prospect door features and unusual upper hinge that allows door to swing up and slide into case, lower hinged doors open to reveal two sliding shelves, lozenge shaped motif repeats itself on both butler's drawer and lower doors, raised on shaped bracket foot base.

68.5 x 52 x 21 in.

Warp to left side of butler's drawer; later leather writing surface; replaced pulls with shadow marks; lower doors both with shrinkage cracks and veneer losses; front left original foot with crack and repair, loss to front spur; other imperfections.
