Early 18th century, both carved oak with mortise and tenon construction, the first, 39 x 18 x 14.25 in., with pierced back having Christian lamb and cross in central medallion flanked by two lions, replaced seat, .25 in. tip to rear legs, new 1 in. bun feet on both front legs, worm and insect damage to right rear leg; the second chair, 37.5 x 16 x 16.5 in., of similar style but having a plain medallion on the back, the seat is likely a replacement, all feet have been tipped.
