The first a shaped papier-m‰chŽ bowl with scalloped edges and inlaid mother-of-pearl panels, the center with Chinoiserie landscape with figures, first half of the 19th century (2 x 14 x 10 in.); the second a Japanese lacquered bowl with fan and figure design, with inlaid mother-of-pearl decoration, Edo period (3 x 7.5 x 8.5 in.).
