Acrylic on canvas, signed and inscribed by the artist on the verso "Zakanych 67 / Angelman No. I." When interviewed for the Krannert Art Museum's "Contemporary American Painting and Sculpture" exhibition in 1969, Zakanych claimed he chose the circle because it allowed him to create an illusion on a flat plane that everyone can relate to and he hoped that the painting could "be seen slowly and involve not only your eyes, but your whole sensitivity."
