Circa 1960, set of (6) white chairs (31.75 in.), and pedestal dining table( 29 x 78 x 48 in.), cast aluminum and fiberglass construction, the table having New York's Knoll Associates label on underside. Finnish-born architect and modernist designer Eero Saarinen (1910 - 1961) introduced the celebrated tulip chair in 1956. This popular form would appear ten years later on early episodes of Star Trek.
