Late 19th century, striking amboyna veneers give the illusion of tortoise shell, highlighted with lightwood banding; the armoire case has two full length hinged doors faced with beveled glass mirrors, ormolu mounts to the crest and stiles, a shelved interior, raised on low turned feet.
