Spotswod, 1798), 2nd American Edition, 444 pp., 12mo (7in. x 4.5 in.), full calf, tooled gilt red leather title plate on spine. This comprehensive culinary guide was first published in England, making its American debut in 1792. Few copies survive.

Covers worn with chipping to extremities, very small area of loss to foot of spine, internal damp stains on endpapers, binding reasonably tight, toned text with light foxing, last page with some loss. A presentable copy in good condition overall.
