Early 19th c., percussion conversion from flintlock, 41" octagonal barrel marked with six stars, .5" bore, 57" LOA, walnut stock with areas of painted faux checkering on either side, brass furniture, illegible maker's name on iron factory lockplate.
Wood loss to left of hammer, repairs to fore stock, missing ramrod, action not in working order.
