Pertains to S/Sgt Wallace R. McLawhorn, 794th Bomb Squadron, 468th Bomb Group, 20th Bomber Command. The centerpiece is a framed collection of memorabilia placed over a custom bullion 20th Bomber Command Banner. Items include (7) medals, among them a Distinguished Flying Cross; CBI patch; 20th AF patch; sterling aerial gunner wings; (2) aircrew wings, possibly Chinese; (2) pieces of shrapnel, one of which is labeled as having hit McLawhorn's plane over Singapore in 1945. Supplementing the frame is a period image of McLawhorn wearing his gunner's wings; (3) framed photos of aircraft and (2) of a postwar reunion.
