Late 19th century, the vessel hand-painted with a robed monk drinking from a similar tankard, allover intricate raised gilt and bead decoration, the lid further decorated with a portrait of another monk. The interior lid, surprisingly, depicts a young beauty. Marked with shield and titled "Stillvergnught" ( "Quietly Hilarious") on the bottom.
