French, early 20th century, designed as a classic steamer trunk composed of monogram leather canvas with metal mounts including side handles accented by exterior wooden straps and nail head detailing, completed by double brass latches and lock closure (marked Louis Vuitton). As was typical in the early days of steamship travel, the case was painted with the owners initials, on this trunk, within a red diamond. The trunk features (2) removable trays. Complemented by custom wooden stand.
