English Chippendale Tall Case Clock

Late 18th-early 19th century, mahogany with figured veneers, white oak secondary, the bonnet features a goose-neck pediment with eglomise panels above a tombstone door which encloses brass works, a hand-painted metal face the corner spandrels decorated with the four seasons, Roman numerals, moon phase dial, seconds dial, the clock body decorated with dentil molding above an applied fretwork frieze, shaped waist door flanked by fluted quarter columns, ogee molded feet. Makers painted mark to face illegible.
