Circa 1730-1740, signed "Alex. Giroust / Coventry Street / London," time and strike, its brass face with a date aperture plus repousse cupid and crown appliques in the corners, the steel dial with a minutes chapter ring and subsidiary seconds dial, mahogany and mahogany veneers, broken arch pediment with brass rosette termini and replaced finial, Corinthian columns flank a single glazed door with replaced glass, dark and lightwood inlay band above door, ebonized detail on the waist door and base. The pendulum, two weights and case key are present.
