Group of Three Similar Sevres Cache Pots
Lot Details & Additional Photographs
With 18th century mark, all with cobalt field and gilt floral designs, two are quite similar with a reserve of a courting couple and one of a floral bouquet, each surrounded by raised enamel beading (4.25 x 4.5 in.), the third with similar reserves lacking the beaded decoration (4.25 x4 5/8 in.).

Both courting scene cache pots with wear to gilding on rim and base; each missing several enamel "beads" surrounding front and back cartouches; variance in florescent light indicates potential re-touch to handles, but not evident in natural light to the trained eye. The child scene cache pot with wear to gilt decoration surrounding cartouches; re-touch to handles visible under black light and in natural light to the trained eye. All three with minor scratches to cobalt ground; several small areas of paint loss to scenes. There has been some question as to these possibly being Worcester, or another soft-paste porcelain.
