Mounted as a two-panel table screen, signed "painted by Qian Xuan Shun Ju of Zhejing," but probably by a later hand, has three faint red collector seals on the left hand side of the screen, ink and colors on silk, very fine detail to figures and landscape, the scene is of the Chinese tale of how Jiang Taigong (or Jiang Ziya) became the King's advisor by fishing in the Wei River without bait in order to attract the attention of King Wen of the Zhou state, who is standing behind him, followed by his entourage.
