Worked in multi color silk on loose weave linen field, top register consisting of upper and lower case alphabet rows, center with name of maker, location of Fayetteville, initials of family members, and dated January 1832, floral motifs to bottom panel, all within a strawberry border.

The maker's birth and death dates are recorded in the "Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Mennonite Vital Records, 1750-1940"; her father, Conrad Coldsmith (1782-1847) is listed in the "Pennsylvania, Septennial Census, 1779-1863" as residing in Letterkenny, Franklin, Pennsylvania in 1807.

Overall good condition; small repair to center left border; not examined out of frame.
