The first an oil on plywood panel, inscribed on the verso Summer 1954 / Montoya hill / rhythm of earth & sky, retaining a gallery label listing the title as "New Mexico rhythm #3" and with Stevenson's Brooklyn, NY gallery address (DOA 20 x 24 in.) (several paint flakes); the second an oil on plywood panel labeled "Place of the shrine summer '57, unsigned (DOA 24.5 x 24.5 in.); the third an oil on canvas board inscribed Where shrine is / Cerro Gordo - in yard by home / Am. July 1950, unsigned (DOA 20 x 24 in.); the fourth an oil on canvasboard, unsigned, dated 1948 on the verso (DOA 24 x 20 in.); and the fifth an oil on canvas board, unsigned (DOA 28 x 22 in.) (extensive paint loss and lifting).
