The first with sponsor's mark for Peter, Anne and William Bateman, London (1798) hallmarks, ornate bright cut engraving in the neoclassical taste with period EJ monogram (3.4 troy oz., 4.5 in., some denting to base, two applied discs to base for balance); the second with IM sponsor's mark, London (1800), with bright cut and pricked engraving, period TH monogram (2.95 troy oz., 4.5 in., some light scratches); and the third with obliterated sponsor's mark, London (1805) hallmark, with punch work to lip, engraved wreath cartouche with worn bright cut engraved monogram (2.4 troy oz., 3.5 in., has old repair at juncture of handle to rim).
