In a bow knot motif and centered with one bezel set transitional cut diamond weighing approximately 1.67 carat (O color, SI2 clarity) and the milgrain platinum bow mount with bead set transitional and Old European cut diamonds weighing approximately 3.58 total carats (G-I color, SI1-SI2 clarity) and completed with a locking C clasp and single pin stem, mount testing platinum and pin stem testing 14KT. Total diamond weight of 5.26 carats.

Presented to Ruth March Hanes on her twenty-first birthday, October 22, 1911, by her father, Pleasant Henderson Hanes, founder of Hanes Tobacco Company and Hanes Knitwear, and by descent to her great niece, Evelyn Hanes Moore Horton, who then left it to her daughter, Ruth's great great niece and current consignor.
