Epstein earned his BFA and MFA from Brooklyn College, and furthered his studies at Columbia University, NYU, the Pratt Graphics Center, and the Art Students League. Exhibiting extensively, his work is housed in numerous museum collections including Bibleothèque National, Paris, the Brooklyn Museum, the Library of Congress, Washington, D.C., and Yale University. He now lives and works in Woodstock, NY.
