The first is On the Elbe, his most recognized image, a carbro print, signed on the mat, retaining the artist's studio label and two exhibition labels on the verso (Pontypridd YMCA Camera Club and 1937 Isalão Internacional) (SS 5 5/8 x 7 7/8 in.); the second titled A Channel Port, carbro print, signed on the mat, retaining the artist's studio label and eleven exhibition labels on the verso with dates ranging from 1930-1933 (The Los Angeles Camera Club, Oregon Camera Club, Orange Camera Club, Cleveland Photographic Society, The Seventeenth Pittsburgh Salon of Photographic Art, Kodak Park Camera Club, The Photo Pictorialists of Milwaukee and The Bridge of Allan and District Photographic Society) (SS 4.5 x 7 3/8 in.); the third titled Autumn, Vermont, chloride (gevaluxe) print, signed on the mat, the verso retaining the artist's studio label and a California Camera Club exhibition label (SS 6 1/8 x 8 1/8 in.).
