A poignant pair of images, being one of Sergeant Amos Humiston, 154th New York Volunteers and another of his two children, this second photograph allegedly found in the hands of Humiston's corpse on the field at Gettysburg. The back of each mount describes how proceeds from the sale of the cards will go towards "an Asylum for dependent Orphans of Soldiers" in Philadelphia.
