The first being postally used, its stamp tied to the cover on the flap with a Bridgeport, CT cds; the second an unused, yet rare, patriotic cover using a Harper's Weekly engraving of "Naval Combat Off Fort Wright." This was a Mississippi River engagement on May 8, 1862.
