As follows: the medal being 19th century, bronze, 32mm, the obverse depicting the Battle of Hampton Roads with the legend,THE CIVIL WAR 1861-1865, the reverse with an eagle and anchor motif beneath UNITED STATES NAVY and above FOR SERVICE, un-issued with some residula luster; the tokens being "Union Forever," 18mm and "Knickerbocker Currency," 20mm. Both pieces Extremely Fine and toned. Included with the tokens is their original ticket reading "The Garrett Collection Part IV, Lot 02126, Bowers & Ruddy Galleries, March 25 & 26, 1981."
