Mid to late 19th century, bronze with lacquer and gilt, with hands in abhaya mudra, wearing elaborately detailed robes and jewelry decorated with gilded lacquer and inlaid with small circular stones, the face has a serene expression and the flaming jewel on the forehead, above is a tall three tiered crown also in gilded lacquer and encrusted with stones, figure stands over a mount that is covered with wood.

Similar to the Standing Crowned and Bejeweled Buddha in the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco, 2006.27.5.

Flaking and loss to gilded lacquer surface in places, especially the backside of the figure; rubbing to gilded surface; two ear decoration that halo around the figure's face on either side are detached but remain with the sculpture.
