Mid 19th century, having a black lacquered surface with allover gilt and hand painted scenes of landscape, dragons, foliate forms, the case with side handles is raised on a turned standard with scrolled feet. The interior of the case features a removable upper tray, upper small lidded trays, assorted sewing accessories. Two keys are included.
