Early 20th century, ink and colors on silk, finely painted depiction of Chinese noble ladies at leisure walking through a contemplation garden and seated by calligraphy brushes and scrolls, little color used, mainly ink only and with very fine detail, framed identically under glass, not examined outside of frame.
