19th century, the magenta-pink ground has extensive raised gilding in floral, anthemia and dot patterns, the reserves are handsomely painted with scenes of Ulysses and Penelope. The ewer features a leafy spout, scrolled handle, spiral molded neck and socle, the pedestal stand decorated with scenes of Venus and Cupid, both stand and ewer with underglaze blue beehive mark.
