18th century, maple, white pine secondary, two part form, bonnet with rosettes and replaced flame finial, upper and lower central drawers with relief carved fan, graduated lipped drawers, cabriole legs with pad feet.

The Estate of the late Wade Anderson Gardner, Jr., Wilson, NC Mr. Gardner, Jr. was born on March 25, 1936 in Wilson, and was the son of the late Lela Smith Gardner and Wade Anderson Gardner. A lifelong educator, he was awarded The Order of the Long Leaf Pine in 2004 for his 30 years of exemplary service to the educational system of North Carolina.

Top of bonnet replaced secondary wood; several drawers rebuilt; drawer guides replaced; brasses replaced; lip repairs; rear legs possibly replaced.
