Early Qing dynasty, 17th or 18th century, calligraphy on lower right hand side with four red ink seals, ink and colors on paper, a very finely painted image with meticulous detail of the Queen Mother of the West or Xi wangmu, depicted dressed in flowing robes and holding an archaic style censer with red smoke emerging from the top, her face is serene and she has a basket of flowers to her side, an elegant foo lion stands next to her, framed under glass, not examined outside of the frame.
