18th century, mahogany, shaped crest rail with scrolled ears, pierced fan back with scratch beading, slip seats with old needlepoint upholstery, straight legs with inside champhor and stretcher.

One ill fitting seat; one with hairline crack at shoe; some missing glue blocks; one with break and repair to stile near crest rail. Four of five chairs have been tipped at feet. Two of the five chairs have bold scrolled ears the remaining three have more subdued scrolled ears.
