Signed "Petit" near the base, the baluster vase has a wide mouth covered by a domical lid with floral finial, one side is hand-painted with a garden scene with figures, the opposing side is painted with a manor house, all amid spring foliage, the powder blue ground is decorated with gilt sprays, arabesques, and lattice reserves. The vase is unmarked.
