All late 19th century - the first a small footed salver marked Hung Chong & Co to underside (.75 x 3.5 x 2.75 in.); the second a cylindrical shaker with dragon decoration and mark for Hung Chong (3.25 in.); the third a match box cover with dragon motif and mark for Hung Chong, period monogram (2.5 x 1 5/8 in.) (some denting).

The firm of Hung Chong, with retail establishments in Shanghai and Canton, was a popular destination for tourists during the second half of the 19th century through the first quarter of the 20th century. Along with Wang Hing, they were well known for their quality silver.
