This is an especially early and well-executed example of Cappiello's work. Pictured here is a woman in music hall attire dancing with a bottle of Damery-Epernay champagne in one hand and a glass in the other. The vibrant color palette and the swirl of the woman's figure is at the same time energetic and balanced. The director of the Champagne Association in 1903 said that this poster is a "perfect" champagne advertisement because it "clearly conveys the joyful spirit" of someone enjoying the beverage (Rennert/Cappiello, p. 58).

Condition A: A very nice, clean impression. Only apparent condition concern is two foxing marks; not examined out of frame.
