Qing dynasty, 19th century, each panel painted in an exceptional manner with a mountain landscape featuring elegant pavilions nestled by a lake amid the hills and trees, the reverse painted with pairs of birds on flowering branches - a very auspicious symbol of marital accord and fertility; the jade panels come together with finely carved fitted wood stands.
