"My intention for creating Remembering Gratitude was to deeply speak to the inner spirit of many people while igniting a ray of collective remembrance, joyfulness and renewed, whole-hearted gratitude. Inspired by the California poppy (once more), and using my signature vessel form, it radiates its message of gratitude in a delicate, glowing band of twenty-one poppies." - Carol Alleman (www.allemanstudios.com)

Working in the lost wax technique, each of Alleman's bronze vessels requires approximately eight to twelve weeks from the creation of a wax form to the final application of patina. In addition to the sculptural form, a companion writing accompanies each work. Alleman is graciously and generously influenced by the feminine experience and power of the natural world. She is also creatively aware through incorporating number symbolism in each sculpture.
