Early 20th century, rectangular writing desk cabinet is raised on four carved short feet, the front is decorated with hand painted raised motif of figures in an idyllic landscape setting, a door opens to reveal a finely fitted interior with additional hand painting and gilt accents, pull out writing desk over two drawers.

Horizontal crack across top of interior decoration; loss to raised lacquer and gilt in areas over cabinet, most prominent on lower area of door; key to exterior and interior doors missing; nicks and wear to base and feet of cabinet.
