The first: "Eucichla Boschi" from Daniel Giraud Elliot's A Monograph of the Pittidae, or, Family of Ant Thrushes, hand-colored lithographs with added gum arabic, 19th century; the second: after John James Audubon (Am., 1785-1851), Passenger Pigeon, offset lithograph, possibly Amsterdam Edition, sheet with false platemark; both matted and framed.
